The markets rallied higher yet again as investors chase to push the Dow over 20,000. The Dow 30 was able to get a little closer today, adding 114 points up to 19,925. The S&P 500 also had a strong day, up 14, and the Nasdaq 100 was the strongest, up 51. Tomorrow the focus will be solely on the Federal Reserve rate announcement in which they are widely expected to raise rates for only the second time in 10 years.

Wynn Resorts (WYNN  ) recovered some of last weeks losses (2.19%) today as the company announced that they will be "entering a joint venture to run its retail space at Wynn Las Vegas." According to the report, the joint venture involves New York real estate company Crown Acquisitions. The deal has Crown paying Wynn $472 million dollars within the coming year for a 49.9% stake in some of Wynn Las Vegas' retail space.

Amazon (AMZN  ) enjoyed a nice 1.87% gain today as the company announced that Prime Video is expected to to launch in India soon. Investors cheered the news today as Amazon had been expected to enter the video on-demand market in India. This will not come without competition though. There are already local competitors in India as well as global rivals such as Netflix (NFLX  ).

ExxonMobil (XOM  ) Was the dominant headline today as President elect, Donald Trump officially picked CEO Rex Tillerson to be the next secretary of state. Shares shot up 1.76% today adding to the strong week already. While reports have circulated for a few days that Trump was going to pick Tillerson, ExxonMobil has yet to comment on who will replace him as CEO. Shares are up over 5% in the last two days on this news.
