Adobe (ADBE  ) revealed recently that it intends to obtain Frame.io, which is a business that contains cloud-based software that permits individuals to offer feedback on videos for $1.275 billion. This particular trend could lead to improvements to the Creative Cloud, which is where Adobe obtains a large amount of its income.

Frame.io has formerly strengthened Creative Cloud with investments like Fotolia, a stock-content marketplace, and Behance, a social media website. The company essentially takes time to go through edits and footage, then making it accessible on the web. The business' cloud-based software can be utilized in order to store and review footage, or leave commentary on edits simply through the act of sharing a link.

In addition, Frame.io provides consolidations with renowned video editing software, such as Adobe's Premiere Pro, Apple's (AAPL  ) Final Cut Pro, and Avid (AVID  ) Media Composer.

Until the moment that Adobe's deal comes to a close, Frame.io will exist and work independently. Thereafter, the business' owners, CEO Emery Wells and co-founder John Traver, will become one with Adobe. Adobe also claims that Emery Wells will go on being in charge of the Frame.io team, going straight in to Adobe's chief product office Scott Belsky.

According to Wells, the "Frame.io product you know and love is not going anywhere." He also states that Adobe's control over the program will offer further resources as well as closer combinations with Premiere Pro and Creative Cloud.

Although Adobe has made efforts to place collaboration components into Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator in past years, none of the attempts have been nearly the same as Frame.io. In terms of purchasing Frame.io, this could enhance or strengthen the deal regarding all users who are presently Creative Cloud subscribers, while overall improving Adobe's firm grip on the creative business.

With new and improved software, Adobe's purchase of Frame.io in a $1.28 billion deal will ultimately provide an expansion on resources, particularly to other related programs. Frame.io will offer a fresh look at video editing software and, through its collaboration with Adobe, a renewed sense of creative expression that will draw in many new users.
