Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) took the wraps off the iPhone 15 series featuring the highly anticipated USB-C port, periscope camera, and more at the 'Wonderlust' event in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. The iPhone 15 price starts at $799, with the top-tier iPhone 15 Pro Max price starting at $1,199.
What Happened: Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 series at its 'Wonderlust' event. The latest flagship smartphones from Apple feature a series of upgrades, including the USB-C port, Dynamic Island across all four models, and the periscope camera on the top-tier iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Apart from this, Apple also announced AirPods Pro and EarPods with a USB-C port, on expected lines.

On expected lines, the iPhone 15 series starts at $799.
The iPhone 15 price starts at $799 for the 128GB version. The iPhone 15 Plus price starts at $899 with 128GB storage.
The iPhone 15 Pro price now starts at $999 with 128GB storage.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max price now starts at $1,199 for the 256GB storage version.

The iPhone 15 pre-orders start Sept. 15, and all four models will be available for purchase starting Sept. 22.
iPhone 15 Features
The most talked about iPhone 15 feature is undoubtedly the USB-C port. After 11 long years, the Lightning port is now dead.
Another notable upgrade is the 48MP primary camera, as compared to the iPhone 14's 12MP camera.
Apart from this, Apple has also ditched the boat-shaped notch in favor of Dynamic Island on the non-Pro models as well. The mute switch is also dead now, replaced by the customizable Action button that has been borrowed from the Apple Watch Ultra.
The A16 Bionic chipset powers the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max get a new A17 Pro silicon. Apple also uses Qualcomm Inc.'s (NASDAQ: QCOM) modem.
Another highlight is the Tetraprism camera with 5x optical zoom on the top-tier iPhone 15 Pro Max model, allowing for superior zoom capabilities.
