Elon Musk's SpaceX allows you to purchase its Starlink products either via its website or from authorized retailers, which now include popular hypermarket chains such as Target (TGT  ) and Walmart (WMT  ).

What Happened: Authorised retailers purchase the hardware from Starlink and sell it directly to end-users online or at its retail locations. The service and support for the customer is, however, managed by Starlink.

The whole list:

The company won't activate service for a Starlink that has been purchased from an unauthorized retailer.

Why It Matters: The satellite internet service provided by Musk's SpaceX is currently available across 100 countries and connects over 3 million customers.

The hardware, however, is slightly expensive, with the standard Starlink hardware currently priced at $499 in the U.S. on Starlink's official website.

SpaceX is seemingly simplifying the hardware purchase process across geographies. In Canada, Starlink products can also be purchased from Costco (COST  ) and Radio Shack in Mexico.
