Visitors to the Skechers Livetopia virtual store can embark on a treasure hunt for exclusive digital items and experiment with virtual try-ons of popular designs, fostering a sense of community and brand interaction.
Within the first five weeks, the store has garnered 3.4 million visits, 4 million try-ons, and nearly 45 million impressions.
Michael Greenberg, President of Skechers, highlights the company's commitment to embracing technology to engage customers, underscoring the importance of connecting with fans across various platforms.
The move resonates with Gen Z preferences, as indicated by a Roblox survey showing 49% preferring to shop with friends in the metaverse.
