This week is another holiday shortened week but we still have one name due up to launch. Keane Group (NYSE: FRAC) is expected, as of now to launch on Thursday. If so, then this would officially be the first company to go public in 2017.
Keane Group, as you can tell is in the fracking industry.. Specifically, they provide completion services for wells in the hydraulic fracturing industry. Based out of Houston, TX the company is looking for $301 million by offering 16.7 million shares in the range of $17-19. Founded in 1973 the company has $324 million in sales for the preceding twelve months.
Next week we could also see three smaller biotechs go public. Jounce Therapeutics (NASDAQ: JNCE), which is a clinical stage biotech developing a drug with Celgene (NASDAQ: CELG). They hope to raise $75 million. Then there is Braeburn Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: BBRX) which will be looking to raise $150 million. They offer an implant to help for opioid addiction. Then there is ObsEva (NASDAQ: OBSV) which is looking for $86 million to continue to develop therapies for women's reproductive health.
