Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE: UBER) is introducing new nautical experiences designed to enhance tourists' adventures across Europe.
Among these offerings is Uber Yacht, debuting in Ibiza this August, providing an affordable luxury yacht experience.
Vacationers can book a private yacht for €1,600 via the Uber app, offering an exclusive day trip around Ibiza.
Starting from Ibiza Town Marina daily at 12pm, Uber Yacht can accommodate up to 8 people on a luxurious Sunseeker Yacht for an 8-hour trip.
The experience includes a personal skipper, a complimentary bottle of champagne, and artisan snacks, with transfers to and from the yacht available from anywhere on the island.
Bookings are available through Uber Reserve from July 26, with trips offered throughout August.
Uber's new travel products extend beyond Ibiza. In July, a first-of-its-kind water transport service will be launched in Venice, allowing users to book a 'Limo Boat' via the Uber app to navigate the Venetian Lagoon.
Priced from €120 per trip, these boats can accommodate up to 6 people and are available on-demand from 8am to 8pm.
Later in July, Uber Boat will expand in Greece from Mykonos to Athens, Corfu, and Santorini. Visitors to Paris can enjoy an Uber Cruise, a free one-hour electric boat tour along the Seine, taking in iconic sights like Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.
These new services cater to rising demand, with Uber noting a 55% increase in international customer usage in European hotspots last summer.
UBER stock has gained more than 63% in the last 12 months. Investors can gain exposure to the stock via IShares U.S. Transportation ETF (NYSE: IYT) and Fidelity Electric Vehicles And Future Transportation ETF (NYSE: FDRV).
