The markets were mostly flat to lower today as tech was the weak spot. The Dow 30 lost 7, the S&P 500 lost 4 and the Nasdaq 100 lost 19. Volume was heavy as options expiration triggered an unusual amount of transactions. Next week the market will likely slow down as investors head out for the holidays. Scheduled news is pretty light with some GDP numbers along with homes sales due out later in the week.

Adobe (ADBE  ) had a wild day of of trade as investors responded to the company's earnings report which showed better than expected fourth quarter earnings. The results were beyond the Street's estimates on both the top and bottom lines. Adobe announced adjusted earnings per share of 90 cents on revenue of $1.61 billion. Shares were higher to start the day but finished lower by 1.50%.

Oracle (ORCL  ) also reported earnings today which sent the stock lower by 4.23%. Oracle reported second quarter adjusted earnings per share of 61 cents with revenue of $9.04 billion. Analysts mostly expected Oracle to report earnings of 60 cents with revenue of $9.12 billion.

Disney (DIS  ) was not that active today (-0.44%) but was in the headlines as its new movie 'Star Wars: Rogue One' will hits the theaters worldwide today and is the first of the Star Wars standalone films. Shares finished the week mostly flat.
